Create with earth.
Learn with intention.

Wheel throwing, hand-building, and glaze sessions in a private garden studio in Texas. Work made here is mid-fire and meant for the table — sturdy, food safe, and ready for the microwave and dishwasher. Your pieces stay with the studio through firing, so you leave with work that is finished and ready to use.

Shannon Farmer
Teaching & Experience

A certified teacher who still loves the studio floor

I am a Texas-certified K–12 art teacher and practicing artist working in clay, drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture. I currently teach ceramics and sculpture at Prosper High School, and I hold a Master Teacher designation through the Teacher Incentive Allotment (2023).

Alongside school teaching, I have offered community ceramics classes and work from a private garden studio with a kiln and a full glaze library. Pottery made here is mid-fire — sturdy, functional, and safe for everyday use.

Whether you’re throwing your first bowl or refining a body of work for college credit, you’ll find clear instruction, patient support, and a deep respect for both craft and creativity.
